What kind of therapy do you offer?

AI offer both short-term and long term, in depth, integrative counselling/therapy.

Are you seeing people face to face or online?

Face to face and online.

How long are sessions?

Each session is 50 minutes long.

What is the difference between therapy, counselling and psychotherapy?

It can be difficult to distinguish between the different terms and they are often used interchangeably. Usually the differences are understood in terms of the length and depth of the work.

How often would I have sessions?

I offer weekly sessions; having regular sessions is an important aspect of therapy and will help you to get the most out of it. Once we find a suitable time slot, I will hold this for you every week.

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?

It is hard to know which therapist to choose and what type of therapy to go for and it is usually only possible to know by trying. I offer a first session at £40; no obligations.

What if I need to cancel a session?

Of course things happen and it will sometimes be necessary to cancel a session. I ask that you give as much notice as possible and I will do the same. Any sessions cancelled by me are not charged. Any cancellations by you with less than one week’s notice will incur a full fee.
